The first Goddess Provisions Box shipped in October with very special Vera Cruz Amethyst points inside.
During a recent adventure in Maui, I met a retired gem dealer named Neil at the Farmer’s Market. It was one of those cosmic meetings, where you’re drawn to a person and strike up a conversation that propels you in a magical new direction.
After buying some of his bananas and guavas, Neil asked me about the crystals on my mala. We started talking about crystals and I ended up asking him if he could point me to some local crystal shops. He laughed with delight and invited me to his property where he had a workshop and storage truck that held over 10,000 pounds of crystals. He had every crystal I could think of.
Amongst his many gems, Neil had a batch of Amethyst points from the Los Vigas Mine in Vera Cruz, Mexico that he’d been holding on to for over 20 years. Vera Cruz Amethyst is considered to be quite rare, as the mine was shut down many years ago. It turns out this batch of beautiful Vera Cruz Amethyst points were waiting for me to come along and buy them. That also means they were waiting for Goddess Provisions Box subscribers, all those tuned in goddesses who somehow found us in our first month.
As Neil started to tell me about Vera Cruz Amethyst, I was mesmerized. It’s a very special high vibration crystal. It contains just the right energy to create a connection with spirit while fostering a protective energy field for the person working with it.
This is a great crystal to work with if you’re having a difficult time settling into a deep meditation. It has the ability to produce an almost immediate “Beta” state, which can really help to take your meditation to the next level or get you going in the right direction. Try meditating with the crystal on your Third Eye Chakra to deepen your intuition and connection with spiritual realms, where your angels or spirit guides can share messages with you.
Amethyst typically forms in crystalline masses or clusters. However, Vera Cruz Amethyst forms as single or clustered stalactites, which are individual elongated crystal points with brilliant lustre. The points are often double terminated, some have sceptre tips and many contain amethyst phantoms within their crystal shafts. On rare occasions, a water or gas bubble may also be present within the crystal.
On a metaphysical level, Amethyst is a crystal of awakening and transformation. It is often the first crystal that people become attracted to, synchronistically opening their conscious awareness and propelling them on their journey.
I don’t think we could have found a more perfect crystal for the October Goddess Provisions Box.
Our October Boxes sold out, but we have some Vera Cruz Amethyst points we’re planning to make available in one of our boxes during the holiday season. In the meantime, you can sign up for the November Goddess Provisions Box. We have many more special crystals and products lined up for you.
